My speaking, preaching and teaching focuses simply on helping people to overcome their spiritual amnesia.  To remember who they are, why they are here and how to live a life they’d love.

My message?

Wake up!  Remember!  Come alive! & FREEDOM!

Why?  Because…

“One life on this earth is all that we get, whether it is enough or not enough, and the obvious conclusion would seem to be that at the very least we are fools if we do not live it as fully and bravely and beautifully as we can.”

My speaking ministry?

I specialize in talking to Christians.  Especially those who feel like something is missing in their lives and just not working even though they “believe” and are “doing” all the right things.  But I love talking to seekers, searchers, Church refugees. the unaffiliated, and especially the non religious by sharing my story and helping them to discover, apply and be liberated by spiritual truth.

“My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours…”

What sets me a part?

My passion.  I’m passionate about my message and I simply love to touch people’s hearts and souls and remind them of what is most important.  When I see nodding heads (not in sleep but engagement), tears and and hear laughter I know we’re getting to soul and encouraging each other’s spirits.

“It’s not so much what you hear when you listen to a sermon, but what you feel that makes the difference.”

I’ll customize a talk on any topic for your Church or Organization.  (Businesses are finally getting the message that spiritual principles and practices like meditation, kindness and gratefulness are helping people thrive in the workplace.)

Pulpit supply:  I love to help pastors and churches by being a guest preacher when needed.

Holy Humor Sunday:  (Giving a break to Pastors the Sunday after Easter) Many American churches are resurrecting an old Easter custom begun by the early Greek Christians — “Bright Sunday” or “Holy Humor Sunday” celebrations on the Sunday after Easter. For centuries in all Christian faith traditions, the week following Easter Sunday was observed by the faithful as “days of joy and laughter” with parties and picnics to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. It’s not only good theology but Holy Humor Sunday services are bringing back large crowds to churches on a Sunday when church attendance typically drops dramatically.

Retreats and Workshops.  I develop and facilitate retreats and workshops for churches and christian organizations etc.

“Bill is a dynamic speaker who gave me much to think about and also touched my heart. He has great passion and a great delivery. His gift for story-telling and holding an audience sets him apart from other speakers. However, what I liked most about Bill was how he simultaneously was honest, funny, and vulnerable. I highly recommend Bill Johnson!”  Scott M.
