Rapid Resolution Therapy

I am ordained pastor and psychotherapist who specializes in treating early trauma, depression and spiritual/faith issues. I use a revolutionary counseling approach called Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). It’s different than conventional and traditional therapy. It actually works!

My specialties include helping Christians with:

  • Trauma
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Grief and Loss
  • Faith Issues

Conventional VS Rapid Resolution Therapy

  • Conventional therapy typically takes years before you see results.  With RRT significant results are often experienced after the initial session.
  • In conventional therapy unsuccessful results are normally blamed on the client not being “ready” or open to change or resistant.  In RRT the therapist is responsible for the outcomes and promoting dramatic change.
  • Conventional therapists try to make the client re-live difficult or traumatic past experiences over and over again as a technique to “release” the pain.  RRT does not require the client to re-visit or re-experience past traumatic events resulting in a pain free and peaceful treatment. RRT accesses the sub conscious and allows the patient to feel no pain with longer lasting results.
  • Traditional therapy often seems to take forever with no lasting change. With RRT results are quick and long lasting.

Originally, RRT was founded by Dr. Jon Connelly for trauma and ever since, the therapy has been tailored to help patients deal with a variety of issues such as: anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, depression, grief and stress-related medical problems an many more.

Experience real healing and lasting change with therapy that works.

Immediate Relief From:
• Guilt/Shame
• Anxiety
• Insomnia
• Night Terrors
• Rage/Resentment

And the ongoing effects of:
• Sexual Trauma
• Childhood Abuse
• PTSD
• Loss/Grief
• Heartbreak/Betrayal

HEAL
If you are dealing with anxiety and depression, you can experience breakthroughs with this accelerated healing method. Rapid Resolution Therapy is gentle and painless. Symptoms and root causes are eliminated without reliving traumatic events or pain from the past.

CLEAR
Traditional methods such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) are time oriented, taking many weeks even years, while Rapid Resolution Therapy is task oriented. By working all facets of the mind, once the task is complete, your mind is cleared.

LASTING CHANGE
Rapid Resolution Therapy is quick and lasting. Individuals report an immediate sense of peace, clarity, and energy. Desired change can happen in one to two sessions, and is preferred over spending long periods in traditional therapy.

ARE YOU STUCK?
If you have been stuck and unable to successfully change your feelings, thoughts or behaviors it is likely that you are being affected by experiences from your past. Any experience that continues to exert a negative influence is traumatic. Not all traumatic events are horrifying or tragic. Sometimes traumatic experiences are remembered, but often they are repressed or forgotten.

BE DONE WITH THE PAST
When fueled by the ongoing influence of difficult or traumatic past events, emotional problems, destructive behaviors and relationship difficulties are almost impossible to overcome. Attempting to bring about enduring change without eliminating that “junk from the past” is like trying to repair the structure of a building by applying a coat of paint.

A WORD ABOUT TRAUMA
When something is traumatic it slams into awareness and leaves a lasting impression. Even when the experience is finished deeper parts of the mind may continue to respond as if it is still occurring. It is as if this deeper part of the mind has not gotten the good news, the news that the painful experience is finished. Even experiences that have been repressed or consciously forgotten can continue to exert a negative influence. This may affect emotions, thinking, relationships, behavior and even health.

HOW IT WORKS
Past events exerting a negative effect can range from experiences as “normal” as a sharp word from a teacher or parent to those as terrible as abuse, rape and war. Rapid Resolution Therapy, developed by Dr. John Connolly, eliminates the negative emotional or behavioral influence of traumatic events, whether these experiences are remembered, repressed or forgotten. It is not necessary to relive past events or experience any pain. The mind is cleared, organized and optimized. There are dramatic improvements in thoughts, feelings and behavior. Unconscious conflicts blocking desired change are pinpointed and resolved. As the root cause of problems is cleared, positive change endures.

EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS OF RAPID RESOLUTION THERAPY FOR YOURSELF
Many clients experience quick and dramatic results and many others gradually and overtime.  But never does it make it worse. RRT is a very comfortable, enjoyable and easy process for clients. If you are ready to try RRT, fill out a contact form or call me at 612-968-2918.

HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
Usually one hour over a few sessions. I suggest that you also have some time before and after for self-reflection to truly absorb the experience properly.  (Some people, after a few sessions, do a monthly “check in” just to keep on track.)

COSTS?
You get to decide and determine what you can pay for each session.  What can you afford?  How valuable is counseling to you?  How worthwhile?  How helpful?  A donation/payment  is made after each session (click here and scroll to the bottom of the page), but you get to decide how much.

If you’re not able to afford anything, let me know.

Please remember that in the long run you’ll save money because this is a brief therapy that is effective without spending years in therapy.

And REMEMBER THIS…

Therapy is not about finding out if you’re crazy, it’s about learning how normal you already are and for discovering options for improving your life.

The first step to success in therapy comes in understanding that asking for help shows strength, not weakness. REMEMBER, seeing a therapist does not mean you have a mental disorder and I don’t view my clients that way. You’re struggle and your pain is not who you are.

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
